아시아태평양법연구소(소장 전종익 교수)는 금융법센터와 사단법인 금융연구포럼과 함께 2025년 9월 30일(화) 서울대학교 법학전문대학원 15-1동 203호에서 "금융 규제 관련 최신 논의 동향 및 우리나라에의 시사점" 을 주제로 국제학술대회를 진행하였습니다.
제1세션에서는 Stablecoins Regulation을 주제로 발표와 토론이 있었습니다. 서울대학교 법학전문대학원 정준혁 교수가 "Stablecoins vs. CBDC - Regulatory framework for non-U.S. contries"를 주제로 발표하였고, 영국 Kings College London의 Rhys Bidder 교수가 "What can stablecoins do to help central banks, and what can central banks do to help stablecoins?"를 주제로 발표하였습니다.
제2세션에서는 Bankruptcy led by PE sponsors and SVB Collapse를 주제로 발표와 토론이 있었습니다. Singapore Management University의 Aurelio Gurrea Martinez 교수가 "Global Trends and Challenges in Corporate Reorganizations: Lessons for Korea"를 주제로 발표하였고, University of Chicago의 Anthony J. Casey 교수가 "Silicon Valley Bank: A Case Study in Post-Crisis Bank Failures"를 주제로 발표하였습니다.
제3세션은 Platform Finance and Super apps를 주제로 발표와 토론이 진행되었는데, Singapore Management University 의 Nydia Remolina Leon이 "Embedded finance and the rise of super apps in Asia"를 주제로 발표하였습니다.
제4세션은 New Frontier of Market Manipulation을 주제로 발표와 토론이 진행되었습니다. 서울대학교 법학전문대학원 정순섭 교수의 "Market misconduct regulation: comprehensive approach and legal issues" 발표가 있었고, Hamburg University의 Dörte Poelzig 교수의 "Enforcement of EU Market Abuse Regulation" 발표가 있었습니다.
아울러 각 세션의 발표마다 지정토론자를 비롯한 참석자의 활발한 토론이 이어지면서, 본 학술대회를 성료하였습니다.
